As a member of SEARAC's Board of Directors, I am immensely proud to support an organization that is building community power and equity for Southeast Asian Americans.
This year, SEARAC has played a vital role in our communities’ right to to be seen, our right to heal, and our right to family. We have introduced and supported legislation that expands educational opportunity. We have spoken to hundreds of community members across the state of California about their mental health concerns and hopes. We’ve been to the White House to share our histories and heritage, and we’ve uplifted the stories of Southeast Asian Americans.
