SEARAC is on a mission to create lasting change for Southeast Asian American communities, and your contribution can make a tangible difference. As we face ongoing challenges, from educational disparities to immigration issues, your support allows us to amplify our advocacy efforts, expand our outreach programs, and provide critical services to those in need.

One of our key initiatives involves collaborating with the Census Bureau to respect our identities and reclassify the Hmong community as Southeast Asian. This groundbreaking effort seeks to ensure accurate representation and equitable resource distribution. Your generosity fuels our commitment to building a more inclusive and just society and helps us continue to fight and win. In 2022, we ended the immigration ban on Laos and helped write and introduce the Southeast Asian Deportation Defense Act, the very first comprehensive anti-deportation bill focused on our refugee communities. This year, we reintroduced the All Students Count Act, which would make our students experiences visible in K-12 data.
